Strategy Overview

The BP Capital Midstream Strategy takes a balanced approach to midstream investing — by primarily investing in "core midstream" companies involved in  gathering & processing, liquefaction, pipeline transportation, rail terminaling, and storage including Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs) and corporations.

.

The strategy seeks to maximize total returns via capital appreciation as well as significant current income, typically treated as “return of capital” to the investor by seeking companies with lower commodity price exposure, a "demand-pull" bias, and strong balance sheet metrics, with sufficient cash flows to support an attractive yield.
